From Shusha and Karabakh to Sheki, Gabala and Nakhchivan: relaxed small-group routes out of Baku, each shaped around how you like to travel.
Karabakh group departures have fixed prices, shown below per person with no hidden extras. Private departures and other routes are quoted on your route, dates and party size.

Karabakh tours
Every tour runs as a private or small group (1-7).
Nothing is charged now. We confirm the date with you before any payment.
Baku runs on UTC+4, three hours ahead of CET and two in summer. Write at any hour: an evening message from Europe is read first thing the next Baku morning.
Change your mind before the date is confirmed and the request costs you nothing to withdraw. Terms after confirmation are agreed with the office in writing.
Karabakh entry paperwork takes time, so we need at least 7 days' notice.

Before you send an enquiry
The questions people ask us most often, answered here rather than after you have written to us.
How do I book?
On any tour with a published price, pick a date and the number of travellers. The total for your party appears before you commit to anything, and we come back to confirm the date. For the tours we quote rather than publish, send your dates and group size and we price the route for you.
Do I pay anything now?
No. There is no card checkout on this site, so requesting a date charges nothing and commits you to nothing. We confirm the date with you first, and the price is settled with the office afterwards.
Is the price per person, and can it change?
The group departures are published per person: 54 € for the day trip and 106 € for two days. Anything longer runs as a private departure, and we send you the price on WhatsApp once we know your dates and party size. The figure on a card is the figure in the confirmation, with no hidden extras. What sits outside it is listed on every card under “Not included”. Sheki, Gabala and Nakhchivan are quoted the same way, because we have not set a fixed group rate for them.
How far ahead should I book?
For Karabakh, leave at least 7 days. Travel there runs through an organised framework rather than as a spontaneous drive, and the arrangements take time, so a same-week request is difficult to honour. If your dates are already fixed, tell us early rather than late.
How large is the group?
Every departure runs as a private trip or a small group of one to 7 people. It is not a 48-seat coach, and that is the main reason the price differs from a mass-market seat.
What is included in the price?
Every Karabakh format includes return transfers from Baku, a local driver-guide who stays with the group throughout, and your Karabakh entry permit filed for you before you travel. The day trip adds bottled water; the two- and three-day formats include accommodation. Meals, entrance fees where they apply and personal spending are not included, and each card lists this in full.
What if I need to cancel?
Requesting a date charges nothing, so a request can be withdrawn at no cost at any point before it is confirmed. Cancellation terms after a date is confirmed are agreed with the office in writing when the booking is fixed. Ask for them before you settle anything, and you will have them in writing.
Do you run tours outside Karabakh?
Yes. Sheki, Gabala and Nakhchivan run as two-day routes out of Baku in the same private or small-group format. They can be combined with a Karabakh trip, and they are quoted rather than published.
Why book here rather than through a booking platform?
Two reasons, and neither is about price. The first is the permit: the official request portal signs you in with Azerbaijan’s national e-ID, which a foreign passport holder does not have, so somebody established here has to file the request for you. We do that as part of every Karabakh booking. The second is that there is no one in between. The operator you write to is the operator who drives you, so a question about the route, the timing or your paperwork is answered by the people who will be there rather than passed along a chain.
The people you will be dealing with
A small team in Baku, not a call centre. The same people plan your route and answer your messages.
Khalid
Khalid spent most of his childhood in Shusha. That is why this company is built around Karabakh rather than treating it as one stop among many, and why he would rather you saw the city slowly than efficiently. Showing Azerbaijan to people who have never seen it is the part of the work he likes most.
